The Truvian Profile

How much of your team’s capability are you actually using?

The unique combination of wiring, history, and context that makes a person unlike anyone else, and how to convert that uniqueness into value in a specific role.

A Vitruvian figure with seven areas colored to represent the seven parts of the Truvian Profile.
Seven parts, one person. Each part is colored on the figure and named in the list.

The seven parts

Outcomes sit outside the seven. They are the feedback on how the seven are being engaged.

Your team’s greatest potential is already in the room.

When people understand and learn to work with one another’s uniqueness, they unlock a level of trust, contribution, and performance they could never achieve alone.

The Profile finds and defines what each person actually brings. Done across a team, it changes how people read each other. Interactions stop being taken personally, because the difference is understood as difference rather than as intent.

The seven parts

Patterns

CliftonStrengths, VIA, Big Five, and similar instruments each help define this: the given patterns that shape how you experience and respond to the world, and the recurring ways certain forms of excellence come more easily. They show up whether or not anyone trained them into you.

Physical

Your body is the delivery system for everything else. It is capacity, energy, health, and physical skill, what you can actually do and sustain. You didn’t choose all of it, but you get to steward it. How you care for it affects every other part of you.

Knowledge

Everything you’ve come to know. Not just degrees: books you’ve read, hobbies you’ve picked up, languages you speak, interests you’ve chased down rabbit holes. Even something as unserious as your favorite sitcom adds to a combination of knowledge no one else has.

Experience

The experiences that shaped you. Every day adds something, but a handful of moments do the real work: the profound, high-impact ones that changed how you approach the world. That includes the wounds you’ve carried as much as the successes you’ve enjoyed.

Passion

What you’d do even if no one paid you. The thing that gets you up without an alarm clock. You feel real joy doing it, and when your work lines up with it, it rarely feels like work. Passion isn’t only something you find. It’s something you grow.

Culture

Culture is the system of shared values and unspoken rules you were raised on and still operate in, written into you before you’re old enough to question it. You move through multiple cultures, macro to micro: country, state, city, workplace, home life, social groups. Each one shapes you, and each one you either conform to or push back against.

Spiritual

There is a dimension to human life that isn’t physical, and people orient to it whether or not they name it. What you settle here shapes what you treat as fixed, what you can endure, and what you judge worth doing. Truvian treats this as a real part of a person.

Outside the seven

Outcomes

The impact of what you do. If you stood up in a room and sang, and others were told you would sing again the next day, would more people show up or fewer? Strong outcomes are often a sign you are on the right path. Not always, but often. Outcomes are feedback on how you are engaging the seven parts.

Truvian starts by understanding what you’re facing, then shapes the work around it.

It begins with a conversation.
